PRICING
Pricing that's as clear as our estate plans
We want you to have a good understanding of what your estate planning is likely to cost before you decide to work with us.
Straightforward Estate Planning
For individuals and couples with relatively straightforward family and financial circumstances who want comprehensive estate planning using a Basic Will.
Your estate plan includes for each client:
Will + Enduring Power of Attorney + Guardianship/Medical Decision-Making Document + Superannuation Death Benefit Nomination + Letter of Wishes.
All of these are included in your estate planning fee, together with the advice and strategy behind them — because deciding what belongs in your estate plan, and what doesn't, matters just as much as the words on the page.
Victoria
Single — from $2,200
Couple — from $3,000
New South Wales
Single — from $2,800
Couple — from $3,600
Why are NSW fees different?
There are typically different fees for our Victorian and NSW clients because the signing requirements are very different.
In NSW, your Enduring Power of Attorney and Appointment of Enduring Guardian require witnessing by a lawyer. Your chosen Enduring Guardians also need to have their acceptance witnessed, which we can complete with them by video conference.
This typically adds an additional lawyer meeting to the estate planning process for our NSW clients.
Testamentary Trust Estate Planning
For individuals and couples who want greater protection and flexibility around the inheritance they leave to the people they love.
Your estate plan includes for each client:
Testamentary Trust Will + Enduring Power of Attorney + Guardianship/Medical Decision-Making Document + Superannuation Death Benefit Nomination + Letter of Wishes.
All of these are included in your estate planning fee, together with the advice and strategy behind them — because deciding what belongs in your estate plan, and what doesn't, matters just as much as the words on the page.

Testamentary Trusts
A Testamentary Trust is not necessarily right for everyone. We will listen to what's important to you and help you decide whether including a Testamentary Trust in your Will will be valuable for the people you love — tomorrow.
If it is, we will customise it to your family's unique needs and strengths, so that it reflects your wishes, works for the people you love and protects them without ruling from the grave.

More Complex Circumstances
Sometimes what you want to achieve is quite simple, but working out the best way to achieve it requires more thoughtful planning.
For more complex estate planning, including many blended families, we will usually recommend starting with a Strategy Session before we provide a fixed fee for the preparation of your estate plan.
Strategy Session — $1,500 including GST
This includes:
our careful review of the information and documents you provide before we meet;
a two-hour Strategy Session to understand your circumstances, work through the available options and help you decide on the strategy that is right for you; and
our post-meeting communication with you (this does not include written advice).
The decisions you make during the Strategy Session can significantly affect the advice and drafting required to put your estate plan in place. We prefer to work out the right strategy with you first, so that we can then accurately scope and price the work needed to bring it to life.
This can also work in your favour. Rather than assuming that every blended family or more complex situation will require extensive additional work (and pricing everyone a little extra accordingly) we first understand what you actually want to achieve.
That means we can price the work you actually need, rather than building the cost of the most complex estate plans into everyone's fees.
At the end of the Strategy Session, we will provide you with a quote to complete the rest of your estate planning.
The work we have already completed with you will be taken into account when we prepare that quote. If the Strategy Session has replaced what would ordinarily be your first estate planning meeting, our quote will reflect that.
In other words, you won't pay twice for the same work. The Strategy Session allows us to work out the right strategy first, and then price the work required to put it in place fairly and accurately.
Not sure which approach is right for you?
You don't need to work that out before you contact us.
Start with a complimentary 20-minute Discovery Call with Lucy Percy. She'll learn a little about you and what you want to achieve, and explain the type of estate planning we recommend, who in our team is best placed to help you, and what it is likely to cost.
